Summer is starting up again and its gonna get hot. With summer comes a lot of things anyone who has a storage unit needs to remember.
- Always bring water with you if visiting your storage unit. It gets hot in there!
- Make sure your belongings are properly stored and wrapped.
- Keep a moisture remover inside the unit year-round. Something like DampRid works well. (you can pick some up at Home Depot, Target, Walmart, etc.)
- Check on your belongings often. This helps keep them in good condition because when you open up the unit and it gets some fresh air flowing.
- Remember to tell the management if you find any wet boxes from leaks from the roof or anywhere inside the unit, pests, or anything else that could be a concern. We don’t know whats going on inside that unit so it’s your job to inform us in a timely manner so that we are able to take care of the problem before it turns into a big problem.
Don’t forget to stop by the office and say hi! Its good to know the person or persons in charge of the facility you’re storing with. We always like the break so say hello or to chat with an existing customer, new customer or potential customer. Its nice to see a smiling face and if you dont come with one, hopefully you will leave with one. That is something I like to see.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Its getting pretty out there. Enjoy and Thanks for taking the time to read.
